What We Believe
We believe first and foremost that God loves you and that He has a plan and a purpose for your life. He sees you where you are right now and knows what you are going through. He loves you so much that He wants you to know Him personally. But our sin (the things we've done wrong against God) creates a barrier preventing us from getting to Him. But God made a way for us to know Him and that is through a relationship with his son, Jesus Christ.

See, Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty of death that you and I should have paid because of our sin. But now He's alive because God raised Him from the dead three days later. And because of Jesus sacrifice, He knocked down any barriers between us and God, allowing us to know God the way God originally intended.

To have this relationship with Jesus, we need to repent of our sin and ask God to forgive our sins. If you would like to have a relationship with Jesus, just say this prayer: Dear Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross in my place. I believe you died and rose again. Forgive me of my sins and change my life from this point forward. I give you full control and I commit to serving you the rest of my life. I love you Lord. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer for the first time, we want to say that we are so proud of you!!! You just made the best decision that you will ever make in your life! Please send us an email as we want to help encourage and support you as you begin your new life with Jesus. Your first steps as a Christian are very important. OK, now the technical stuff:

We believe that the Bible is the only inspired and authoritative Word of God and that is without error or fault as it is inspired by the Holy Spirit. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21)

We believe that there is only one true God, existent in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and that He does not share His name with any other religion. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe that Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man, He was born of a virgin birth, He lived a sinless life, He performed miracles, He died on the cross taking the penalty of death as a substitute for our sins, He is alive today because He was physically raised from the dead through the power of the Holy Spirit, and that He has been exalted in heaven to the right hand of God the Father. (Matthew 1:23; Hebrews 7:26; Acts 2:22; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 1 Corinthians 15:4; Acts 1:11, 2:33)

We believe that man is sinful and in need of salvation to rescue us from an eternal separation from God. The only way to be saved is by repenting of and being forgiven from our sins (all of the wrong things we've done against God) which enters us in to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This results in a 'new birth' (think caterpillar transforming into a butterfly) by the Holy Spirit allowing one to live a holy life. (Luke 24:46-47; Romans 10:13; Titus 3:4-7; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Acts 4:12)

We believe that the gifts given to each Christian by the Holy Spirit are still in full operation today and did not cease with the Early Church. These gifts, along with help of the Holy Spirit, enable Christians to live a godly life filled with power and confidence to accomplish the works God has called them to do. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; Galatians 5:16-18; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31)

We believe that the only way to have eternal life in heaven is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. (John 3:16; John 14:6)

We believe that God is still healing people today and that divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, and is the privilege of all believers. (Isaiah 53:4,5; James 5:14-16)

We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again soon to take those who have a personal relationship with Jesus, both dead and living, home to be with Him in heaven for all eternity. (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17; Titus 2:13; 1 Corinthians 15:51,52)

We believe there will be a final judgment in which all people, dead and alive, will be judged according to their works. Any person whose name is not found written in the Book of Life (those who don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ, i.e.those who have rejected Him as their Savior), will be sent to eternal punishment in the lake of fire, spending an eternity separated from God. (Revelation 20:11-15; Revelation 19:20; Matthew 25:46)

We believe that it is the responsibility and the obligation of every Christian to tell others about the love of Jesus Christ and about how everyone can have a personal relationship with Him. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8)
